Electric Tapes
About This Project
Description
“Electric Tapes” – Live Tape Art Performance at Lowlands Festival for KIA
At this year’s Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands, we teamed up with KIA to turn a designated campsite into an immersive tape art installation. As part of a live tape art performance, we transformed three of KIA’s new electric vehicle models into rolling canvases – each featuring a unique, vibrant tape design tailored to the car’s form and identity.
In addition to the vehicles, we designed and taped the entire backdrop structure, creating bold, colorful landscapes that extended the artwork into the environment. Each zone showcased a distinct color theme and visual pattern, reflecting movement, energy, and the spirit of electric mobility.
Festivalgoers were invited to explore this creative space, where urban art met cutting-edge car design in an outdoor camping context. The result was a dynamic fusion of function, branding, and artistic expression – making the message of sustainable innovation both visible and tangible.
Project Highlights:
* Live tape art performance on-site during the festival
* Three individual tape designs applied to KIA’s electric vehicle series
* Custom-designed tape backdrops to create immersive, color-coordinated zones
* A creative crossover of street art, mobility, and brand experience
This project brought together public art and e-mobility, transforming KIA’s presence at the festival into a bold and memorable artistic intervention.
