Let’s Elevate the Elevator

In the entrance area of a modern building, we transformed a standard elevator into a visual highlight using MacTac Squid Bone. Under the playful motto “Let’s Elevate the Elevator,” the glass surface of the elevator was precisely wrapped with a custom-printed Squid film. Printed on a Mimaki JV330 using SS21 ink and pre-cut to fit the glass panels, the motif features the iconic DODOTOOLS dodo bird—ironically using the stairs to elevate the floor, creating a humorous contrast to the function of the elevator itself. The result is an eye-catching and brand-driven installation that blends subtle textile aesthetics with storytelling.
