Mud, Metal & Tape

At the legendary Wacken Open Air, in the middle of mud, music, and metal, I brought a burst of color and energy to the ebay My Garage. A once-ordinary car was transformed into a striking piece of Tape Art, its body wrapped in bold patterns and vibrant colors.

Each section of the vehicle shines in one of the four ebay colors – fiery red, electric blue, bright yellow, and vivid green – creating a patchwork of movement and rhythm that feels alive, even while standing still. The design echoes both the chaos and the unity of the festival: individuality expressed through color, bound together in one shared experience.

The artwork symbolizes diversity, creativity, and transformation, celebrating the DIY spirit that both eBay and the festival culture represent.

Even buried in Wacken’s infamous mud, this Tape Art Car became a magnetic centerpiece of the eBay My Garage – a visual clash of chaos and order, metal and color, grit and art.
