Tape the Faith
Between tradition and transformation – tape art on a church!
A historic church building meets a powerful, urban intervention: with bright colours, geometric patterns and clear lines, the tape art makes the monumental brick portal pulsate.
Dynamic triangles and diagonal stripes in violet, cyan, magenta and orange seem to burst open the old façade – almost like an energetic impulse that rises through the windows and continues into the sky. The otherwise calm architecture becomes part of a lively dialogue: between old and new, stillness and movement, the sacred and the contemporary.
As soon as the sunlight falls through the large windows, it bathes the nave in vibrant colours. Geometric patterns flicker on the floor and across the walls – a dialogue of light, space and movement begins. The coloured tape transforms the daylight into a living work of art that is constantly restaged throughout the day. This transforms a static façade into a breathing, spiritual space.
This design is not a break, but a bridge – between generations, lifestyles and forms of expression. An invitation to see the church in a new light – as an open, creative place in the centre of the city.
